I asked why on earth they don't have signs posted saying not to feed the wildlife (like all over florida does) and she said that corporate didn't respond when they asked. The waitress said they could get her some chips but couldn't refund her meal. The Egret had grabbed an entire plate and took off with a burrito. We finished eating and threw away our own trash so we wouldn't be attacked and all of a sudden heard a table behind us scream and chairs went flying. The $3 happy hour is pretty great for those. The sangrias were the only great thing about the meal. The food was OK and the salsas were more like syrupy marinades more than salsa. I also had to help chase him from another table too. He was persistent and a bit scary! (thankfully I'm an animal person). While he was gone I had to chase the bird away from our table twice (in under 5 min). Once our food came out (mine was wrong and had no meat on it when it should have had chicken) my fiance walked inside to get a few different salsas to try with his food. No wonder he was so brave and close to everyone eating. After we ordered our food inside and were sitting out on the patio I noticed that another table was feeding the Egret from their table. I noticed a large Egret hanging around tables where people had just finished eating but didn't think anything of it since we are in Florida. We decided to sit on the patio and enjoy sangria while we checked out the menu. I'm sure the staff is still adjusting to growing pains but they were really unprofessional and spacey. This place just opened up around the corner from our new apartment and we are both huge fans of mexican food and salsas so we thought we would give it a whirl.
